Terms of Use
Clear terms for using the Living Projects connector.
Effective August 10, 2026
1. What Living Projects is
Living Projects is a connector (the “plugin”) that gives supported AI platforms fixed tools for reading, capturing, saving, and organizing the record in storage you control.
You direct what you want done. When an action uses Living Projects, your AI platform calls the relevant Living Projects tool. Living Projects performs only the defined action that tool is built to perform.
Living Projects is provided by Living Projects, an individual developer (“Living Projects,” “we,” “us”). By connecting or using the connector, you agree to these Terms.
2. Your AI platform and your storage
Living Projects works with third-party AI platforms and storage providers. Those services are separate from Living Projects and are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, permissions, and account settings.
You choose the storage provider and authorize the connector through that provider’s own authorization process. Living Projects does not collect your storage password. The authorization allows Living Projects tools to use that storage connection when your AI platform calls them.
3. Tool actions
Each Living Projects tool has a defined function. When your AI platform uses Living Projects in response to your instruction, it calls the tool for that action. Platform permission and confirmation settings may determine whether the action requires your approval before it runs.
Living Projects does not decide what matters, what should be captured, what something means, what should be saved, or what advice you should receive. You direct the work; your AI platform does the thinking.
4. Your content and record
Your files and record live in the storage you choose. Living Projects does not operate a separate repository for your content and does not retain a separate copy of your record.
When a tool is called, only the content needed to complete that action passes between your AI platform and the storage you authorized. For example, a read tool retrieves the requested record content; a save tool writes the content supplied by your AI platform.
You control what is saved in your storage, what is changed or deleted there, and how long it remains there. You are also responsible for your storage account and any backups or version history you want to maintain.
5. Connection authorization
To keep an authorized storage connection available, the connector infrastructure securely keeps the provider-issued authorization credential and an anonymous technical connection identifier. The authorization remains available until it expires, is invalidated, or you revoke it. It is used only so Living Projects tools can perform authorized actions when called.
6. Availability
Living Projects is currently provided without charge and is offered “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every AI platform, storage provider, device, or account type.
Platform and storage support may change as third-party services change their APIs, connector systems, approval requirements, or other technical rules. We may update, suspend, or discontinue Living Projects at any time.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Living Projects to break the law, access storage or content you are not authorized to use, interfere with or overload the connector, bypass security or rate limits, probe the service for unauthorized access, or harm other people or systems.
We may restrict or disable access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, third-party platforms, or storage providers, or to comply with law.
8. The AI is not Living Projects
Living Projects provides tools, not advice. Any analysis, recommendation, interpretation, or generated content comes from you and the AI platform you choose, not from Living Projects.
Living Projects does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, or other professional advice.
9. Warranties and liability
Living Projects is currently provided free of charge. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Living Projects is provided “as is” and “with all faults.” Except for express commitments specifically stated in these Terms, Living Projects disclaims all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or quality, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade.
There is no warranty that Living Projects, any information processed through it, our efforts, or any system will fulfill your particular purposes or needs, or that access will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the extent applicable law permits such a disclaimer, there is no warranty against interference with your use of the information or against infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Living Projects and its owner or operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, business, goodwill, or data, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use Living Projects.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, total liability for direct damages arising out of or relating to Living Projects will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for Living Projects during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Living Projects is currently provided free of charge.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Ending use
You can stop using Living Projects at any time by disconnecting it from your AI platform. Your files and record remain in your storage unless you choose to change or delete them there.
We may suspend or end the connector if needed for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or service discontinuation.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Living Projects changes. The current version will be posted at livingprojects.net/terms with its effective date. Continued use after an updated version takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
