Privacy Policy

1. The short version

Living Projects is a connector — a set of fixed tools an AI platform can call to read, capture, save, and organize the record in storage you control.

You direct what you are working on. Your AI platform does the thinking. Your storage holds the record. Living Projects is not a storage provider and does not retain a separate copy of your record.

2. What the connector handles

Tool-call data. A Living Projects tool handles only the information needed for the action being performed. For example, when an AI platform calls a read tool, the connector retrieves the requested record content from authorized storage and returns it to the AI platform. When an AI platform calls a save tool, the connector writes the content supplied by the AI platform to authorized storage.

Living Projects does not receive your full AI conversation unless the AI platform includes particular conversation content in a tool call. It receives only what the platform sends for that action.

Storage authorization. When you connect a storage provider, that provider issues the connector an authorization credential. The connector infrastructure securely keeps that credential with an anonymous technical connection identifier so the authorized connection remains available for future tool calls. Living Projects does not collect your storage password.

Routine technical data. The connector and its hosting infrastructure may generate ordinary technical records needed to operate and secure the service, such as timestamps, request paths or types, response status, errors, IP or network information, and browser or client information. Living Projects does not intentionally write record or file contents into application logs.

Support messages. If you email Living Projects, we receive the email address and information you choose to include in that message.

3. What Living Projects does not collect or use

• No Living Projects user account or user profile is required.
• Living Projects does not maintain a separate copy of your files or record.
• Living Projects does not collect your full AI conversation as a separate data source.
• Living Projects does not sell personal data or record content.
• Living Projects does not use record content for advertising, behavioral profiling, data brokerage, or training a general-purpose AI model.

4. How information is used

Information handled by Living Projects is used only to:

• perform the Living Projects tool action called by your AI platform;
• keep an authorized storage connection available for future tool calls;
• operate, secure, and troubleshoot the connector; and
• respond if you contact support.

5. Where information goes

When a Living Projects tool is called, information needed for that action moves between the AI platform you are using and the storage you authorized through the connector.

That may involve:

• the AI platform you are using;
• the storage provider you authorized, such as Dropbox, Google Drive, or Microsoft OneDrive; and
• infrastructure providers used to host and secure the Living Projects connector and website.

Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to investigate or address a security incident. Living Projects does not disclose record content to advertisers, data brokers, or information resellers.

6. Your control

You control whether Living Projects is connected to your AI platform. If it is disconnected, that platform cannot call Living Projects tools.

You control the files and record in your own storage, including what is saved there, changed, downloaded, deleted, and how long it remains there.

You may also revoke Living Projects’ storage authorization through your storage provider if you want to end that authorization.

7. Google user data

Living Projects uses Google Drive data only to provide the user-facing Living Projects tool functions requested through a connected AI platform.

Living Projects’ use and transfer of information received from Google Workspace APIs adheres to the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is not used for advertising, data brokerage, credit decisions, or training or improving a general-purpose AI model. Human review of Google Drive content is not part of the normal operation of Living Projects.

8. Retention

Your content. Living Projects does not retain a separate copy of your files or record after a tool call. Your content remains in storage you control, and you decide what is kept there and for how long.

Connection authorization. The provider-issued authorization credential and anonymous connection identifier are retained so the authorized connection remains available without requiring you to reconnect for every tool call. The authorization remains available until it expires, is invalidated, or you revoke it.

Technical records. Standard hosting access and error logs may be retained by the infrastructure used to operate the service according to that infrastructure’s operational and security practices. They are not used for advertising or profiling.

Support email. Messages sent to the support address remain in the support mailbox as part of ordinary correspondence unless deleted.

9. Security

Living Projects uses secure network connections for external service calls and protects stored storage authorization credentials at rest. The connector is designed so your files and record remain in storage you control rather than becoming a separate Living Projects content store.

10. Your controls

• Disconnect Living Projects in your AI platform to stop that platform from calling the connector.
• Manage, download, edit, or delete your files and record directly in your own storage account.
• Revoke Living Projects through your storage provider if you want to end the storage authorization.

11. Third-party services

Your AI platform and storage provider are separate services. Their own privacy policies, data-retention rules, account settings, and security controls apply to information they handle. Living Projects does not control those services.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy if Living Projects changes. The current version will be posted at livingprojects.net/privacy with its effective date.
